1.Camera connection and setup issues.
Note: Linux product add-on camera only supports 720P resolution and below.
1.If your car factory comes with a camera, please choose camera type - factory camera inside the settings as shown in the picture.
Key point: Be sure to restart the device. The changes will take effect only after restarting.
2. If you want to modify the camera (front view or rear view), please note that the resolution of the selected camera must not exceed 720P, otherwise it will not be able to display the reverse or forward image properly.
Please follow the instructions below for proper wiring.
A.(Cable1) When adding rear view camera:
Please connect the camera's power cable to the “12V OUT” or “CDD+12V” on the ISO power cable.
Connect the video input cable of the camera to “REAR CAMERA” on the ISO power cable.
After connecting: Please set the camera type to Aftermarket Camera in the settings. As shown in the picture.
After connecting: Please set the camera type to Aftermarket Camera in the settings. As shown in the picture.
Select the frame rate corresponding to the camera. Typically, select 720P@25.
Key point: After completing the above two steps, be sure to restart the device.
B.(Cable 2) When adding rear view camera:
Please connect the camera's power cable to the “CAMERA +12V” on the ISO power cable.
Connect the video input cable of the camera to “REAR CAMERA” on the ISO power cable.
After connecting: Please set the camera type to Aftermarket Camera in the settings. As shown in the picture.
Note: As with Cable1, select the camera type, frame rate, and restart.
C. Connecting the front view camera is similar to the above method. Simply connect the yellow lotus plug to the “FF CAMERA IN” video input.
If the reverse view screen continues to display abnormally after following the steps above, please contact our professional after-sales team for further hardware testing and system troubleshooting.
