1.Problem Description

Some Mercedes-Benz owners experience audio echo when using in-car devices. To resolve this issue, you can enable audio transmission via the vehicle’s factory-installed Bluetooth system, which effectively eliminates the echo and delivers clear audio playback.

2.Solution: Use the original Bluetooth audio transmission

1.Enable the vehicle's Bluetooth channel on the in-car system:

On the Linux main screen, navigate to setup - system, locate the Use Car's BT Channeloption, and enable it.

2.Connect your phone to the car's built-in Bluetooth:

Switch to the Mercedes-Benz OEM interface and use your phone to pair with the vehicle's Bluetooth system.

3.Connect a Linux screen via Bluetooth:

Switch back to the Linux system interface and use your phone to pair and connect to the Linux screen via Bluetoot

4.Automatically connect CarPlay to the audio output:

Once the Bluetooth connection is established, the system will automatically initiate the CarPlay connection. At this point, music playback will function normally, and audio will be output through the vehicles Bluetooth system.
