3.LINUX Transmits Sound Using OEM Bluetooth (OEM only supports Bluetooth calling)

The connection methods are divided into OEM Bluetooth connection methods that support Bluetooth audio and OEM Bluetooth connection methods that do not support Bluetooth audio, please pay attention to the distinction.

OEM Bluetooth connectivity methods that support Bluetooth calling only:

Android Auto

Step 1: Go to Phone Settings-APP, then find Android Auto and tap .

Step 2: Then click Permissions

Step 3: Click Phone/Contacts/Call logs in turn and turn off its permissions.

Step 4: Enter the OEM system interface, click Telephone-Bluetooth device-Add new device, and then follow the prompts to use the phone to connect to the OEM Bluetooth.

Step 5: After successfully connecting the OEM Bluetooth, directly return to the PEMP system, click the Bluetooth icon on the home page, and then use your cell phone to connect to the PEMP Bluetooth.

Step 6: Then tap PEMP Bluetooth on your phone and turn off all Bluetooth permissions.

Step 7: Once Android Auto is successfully connected, if someone calls you, you can hear the OEM system ringing, then tap the phone button on the steering wheel and Android Auto will automatically switch to the OEM system to answer the call.

From now on, all the connection steps are completed and you can talk directly with the OEM Bluetooth and OEM microphone.

Carplay

Step 1: Connect the PEMP screen to Carplay via PEMP Bluetooth.

Step 2: Enter the OEM system interface, click Telephone-Bluetooth device-Add new device, and then follow the prompts to use the phone to connect to the OEM Bluetooth.

Step 3: After successfully connecting the OEM Bluetooth, if someone calls you, you can hear the ringtone of the OEM system and then tap the phone button on the steering wheel to answer the call.

Once the call is answered, you can simply tap the sound icon on your phone to switch the sound channel to OEM Bluetooth, and you'll be able to talk using OEM Bluetooth and the OEM microphone.
