This post is about OEM Bluetooth connectivity with Bluetooth audio support, if your OEM Bluetooth only supports Bluetooth talk, please check another post.
Connection method for OEM Bluetooth with Bluetooth audio support:
Step 1: Go to the PEMP system, then click on Settings - System in turn, and turn the Use Car's BT Channel option on.
Step 2: Then go to Settings - Car Settings - Auto Switch to AUX and select the Close option.
Step 3: Enter the OEM system, click Multimedia-External Devices-Connections-Add new device, then follow the prompts to connect to the OEM Bluetooth using your phone.

Step 4: After the OEM Bluetooth connection is successful, go back to External Devices and switch the mode to your phone's Bluetooth.
Step 5: Return to the PEMP system, click on the Bluetooth icon on the home page, and then use your cell phone to connect to PEMP Bluetooth.
Step 6: When the phone pops up a window requesting permission to connect to Carplay/Android Auto, click Confirm, and then wait for the automatic connection; after the connection is successful, the sound of Carplay/Android Auto will be played through the OEM Bluetooth, and the call will be made through the OEM microphone.
NOTE :To transmit sound using OEM Bluetooth, you must switch the sound channel to BMW Bluetooth:
