1.Problem Description
Some BMW owners have reported issues with their backup cameras after installing Linux Screen, such as display errors, no signal, or distorted images.
2.Preliminary Check
1.First, verify that the OEM interface is displaying properly.

3.Solution: Camera Type / Format Configuration
Scenario 1: Using an OEM backup camera
1.If the OEM interface displays normally, please follow these steps to configure it:
From the main screen, tap Settings → Car Settings → Reverse Settings → Camera Type
2.Select “Original Camera” from the list.
3.Under the "Camera Format (For Aftermarket Camera)" menu, please select SD NTSC.
4.Once the configuration is complete, turn off the vehicle's engine and power, then restart it to verify that the backup camera view has returned to normal.
Scenario 2: Using a third-party backup camera
If you have installed a third-party camera, please follow the instructions and steps below:
The camera format must be AHD or CVBS
The resolution must not exceed 720p
1.If the OEM interface displays normally, please follow these steps to configure it:
From the main screen, tap Settings → Car Settings → Reverse Settings → Camera Type
2.Select “Aftermarket Camera” from the list.
3.Under the "Camera Format (For Aftermarket Camera)" menu, please select AHD 720P@25.
4.Once the configuration is complete, turn off the vehicle's engine and power, then restart it to verify that the backup camera view has returned to normal.
