2.Operation Procedure
1.Enable AirPlay in Linux Screen
1.1.On the main interface of the BMW Linux in-car screen, go to:
Setup-Smart Phone-Smart Phone List
1.2.Find the AirPlay option in the interface and enable it.
2.Go to the AirPlay pairing setup screen
Return to the car infotainment system's home screen, tap the AirPlay shortcut icon, and go to the connection screen.
3. Connect your phone to the car's dedicated Wi-Fi
Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your iPhone to the vehicle’s dedicated Wi-Fi hotspot (the hotspot name and password are as shown on the screen).
4.Initiate screen mirroring from your phone
Open the Control Center on your iPhone, tap “Screen Mirroring,” and select AirPlay from the list of devices.
5. Screen mirroring complete
Once the connection is established, the iPhone screen will be mirrored in real time on the in-car display, and AirPlay will be enabled.
