After switching to a new phone, CarPlay isn't working. How can I fix this?

Updated on

Some customers have reported that CarPlay stops working after switching to a new iPhone. This is typically caused by incompatibility between the latest iOS version on the new phone and the older version of the in-car displays operating system. Updating the in-car displays operating system will resolve this issue.

1.Preparations Before Upgrading

1.Prepare a USB flash drive with a capacity of 32GB and format it to FAT32.

2.Contact our after-sales team to obtain the official update package:

2.Upgrade Instructions

1.Copy the update package file to the root directory of the USB flash drive (do not place it in a subfolder).

2.Plug the USB flash drive into the USB port on the Android screen.

3.When the system displays an update prompt, click YES to begin the update.

4.Please wait for the update to complete; the screen will restart automatically.

5.After the screen restarts, please remove the USB flash drive immediately to prevent the system from repeating the update process.

3.Important Notes

1.You must use a USB drive formatted in FAT32; other file systems may cause the upgrade to fail.

2.Do not disconnect the power or remove the USB drive during the upgrade process.
