How to Distinguish Between Linux Standard Version and ZLT Version: 48. How to Tell Linux Standard Version from ZLT Version
The BMW PEMP Linux car‑head‑unit has two dedicated versions: Standard Version and ZLT Version. The firmware of the two versions is not interchangeable. You must check the version carefully before upgrading; otherwise, functional abnormalities will occur.
Update Details
1. Change the software version prefix to ”ZLT“.
2. Add the option ”Use Car's BT Phone Channel“.
When enabled, for vehicles whose factory Bluetooth only supports phone calls, calls will automatically switch to factory Bluetooth during Android Auto use. After the call ends, audio playback will automatically switch to AUX mode.
3. Add the ”Vi-Link“ feature.
After an Android phone connects, streaming websites such as YouTube can be accessed on the screen.
4. Add the “OEM System Screen Centered Display” feature.
When enabled on vehicles with factory screens smaller than 8.8 inches, the OEM system and reverse camera interface will be centered with black bars on the left and right. Static images will no longer be displayed on the right side.
5. Add aftermarket parking guide line adjustment.
When entering the reverse camera interface for aftermarket cameras, tap the settings button at the top-right of the screen to adjust the angle of parking guide lines.
6. Add touch support for the OEM system interface of EVO systems.
For EVO vehicles equipped with factory touchscreens, add touch functionality for the OEM system interface on the slim 10.25-inch / 12.3-inch EVO systems
